Can the user not login (or you login equally the user) and let Windows create the account? Then accommodate permissions as necessary one time it's in place?

I call back until that user account actually logs in, you may keep bumping the wall, and then to speak. Once the contour has been created you'll exist golden.

if the machine is joined to the domain then you do add the user that way. At the login screen you would click other user at the bottom left of the screen. And so you would put the domain credentials of said user into the corresponding blanks. This will not work though if you take not created the user in agile directory. Your Domain controller is what controls the domain accounts. Equally far as i am aware (anyone feel gratuitous to correct me on this) you cannot add(or create) a user to the domain on the client side machine.

Echoing star and Dennis, if the computer is joined to a domain, log in with a domain business relationship and it will create the estimator user contour.

The only reason you'd add a user manually on the machine would exist to brand them a local admin.

Of course, right after I post this question, I find an answer.

I went to Run so entered control userpasswords2 and that brought up the usual Add User screen I am used to in Windows vii. I was then able to add the user and permission levels.

I don't get why getting to that requires a Run command and is non but function of the Account options. So far Windows 10 is a huge thwarting in usability and navigation.

The only reason you'd add a user manually on the motorcar would be to make them a local admin.

Fifty-fifty later yous log them in the first time, y'all can then change their contour to a local admin.

Why in the world would you do that? Use Group Policy to add the proper domain security group to the Local Admins group. Add domain user to domain group.

On the subject field of programs needing local admin rights:

Much of the time they actually don't. You'll get information technology a lot from sloppy developers who don't know/don't care plenty to properly secure their software for business organisation utilize. Oft what the programme needs is for $CurrentUser to have write access to a specific folder tree (oftentimes c:\program files (x86)\$AppInstallDir or c:\ProgramData\$AppInstallDir), a specific department of the registry, or both.

It's worth taking a bit to adapt permissions on a examination unit of measurement to come across if that's the example.
